At Arundel Road Garage we are able to identify any issues within your entire braking system. We believe that your safety is paramount.
If you have any concerns with the performance of your brakes or are experiencing ‘grinding’ noises from your car please do not hesitate to call us and book a brake inspection in. Equally if your vehicle is booked in for a service then, as standard, we will check your brakes. On a Full Service, front & rear brakes are checked. On an Interim Service, the front brakes are checked.
Providing exemplary levels of braking quality is essential, that is why we are a PAGID approved ‘Proud to Fit’ garage and therefore fit PAGID OE quality brake parts as standard, genuine parts can also be fitted if that is your preference.
Over time brakes and their performance deteriorate. This can go unnoticed as the change can be gradual. Our checks ensure your brakes are safe and operating at the optimum levels.
Brake fluid starts to absorb moisture as soon as it is removed from the sealed container and put into your vehicles braking system. This will, in turn, affect the braking by reducing the high temperature of the brake fluid. Brake hoses have tiny pores that will allow water and moisture to enter the brake fluid, out of sight is out of mind and due to the natural climate of the UK (wet and humid air on the main). It is essential to ensure your brake fluid is changed every two years to maintain basic vehicle safety.
At Arundel Road Garage we have invested in a Pro-Cut brake lathe machine, which refurbishes your brake discs instead of replacing them – saving you money and improving braking performance. This machine has been approved by global manufacturers including BMW, Rolls Royce, Jaguar, Porsche and Land Rover. You can read more about the Pro-Cut process here.
