At Arundel Road Garage we take privacy seriously & will only use your personal information in the administration of the services you require.
The business, Arundel Road Garage, is known as the ‘Controller’ of personal data (information) that you provide to us. We will only collect basic personal date about you and this will include name, address, contact details and IP address. We require this to provide repair and MOT services. We will never collect any data from you that we do not need and is not relevant.
All of the personal data that we handle is only ever processed by our staff at our site. However for the purposes of IT hosting and maintenance, this information is located on servers within the UK. No third parties have access to your data unless the law allows them to do so.
We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data for a minimum of six years, after which time it will be destroyed. Your information that we use for marketing purposes will be kept with us, unless you notify us that you no longer wish this to be the case. If you hold a preferred method of communication please do advise us and we will ensure our records are updated and state this.
If at anytime you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are processing your personal data not in accordance with UK law you can complain to the ICO – Information Commissioners Office at www.ico.org.uk of which we are registered.
